Assemblage is an addictive sculptural process in which
various and diverse elements and objectives are combined. The medium of
Assemblage differs depending on the artist. Artist usually combine objects that
inspire them to create a whole. I chose
to do a sculpture by artist Louise Nevelson. The sculpture is called “Homage to
the World” Louise’s sculptures all have pieces that a molded together, I believe
this is because her family was forced to relocate due to her Jewish heritage.
